The crowning gem of the Black Eel is our leafy, laid-back beer garden- where charm meets versatility with a side of effortless cool. Whether you're sinking into a quiet nook for low-key chats or gathering your gang for something a bit livelier, there’s a space that fits the vibe. A petanque court and a boat adds a playful twist (because why not?), and the lush greenery brings a bit of secret-garden energy. It’s a little pocket of calm tucked away from the high street chaos- a hidden hangout you’ll want to keep to yourself. The garden is open until 10pm. Petanque is available to book from the springtime!

Garden bookings are available Sunday through Thursday. Bookings will not be available on Fridays, Saturdays, or bank holiday Sundays from March 27th. All existing bookings will be honoured. Once the garden reaches full capacity, entry will operate on a one-in, one-out basis
